Hi All,

well the wait for a CDMA/GSM variant of the HD2 is over, since T-mobile has announced an exclusivity deal to carry the HD2 in the US. so unless there is a CDMA-HD2 variant under another name same as the topaz/whitesone case then i think I'm taking my money to T-mobile knowing that i'm going to miss Sprint's reasonable Plans and good coverage.

sprint is suppose to hold an event today at CES correct me if i'm wrong lets see if this LG WinMO phone is something deal breaker. Sad very Sad Sprint.

I think it's just for the skiff, an e-reader. At least that's what engadget says. 10:30 am pacific. That's 1:30 pm here in the east.

Somebody mentioned that Sprint and LG will be going live at 7:30, but it's for the release of the new LG Lotus and LG Rumor Touch. Not very exciting.

yeah 7:30 again, think it will be more like 8:30 like last night? Yeah niether of those LG phones are even worth having an event for. Hopefully there are a couple prada-like phones included as well. Maybe a version with and without a keyboard, both with huge screens and tegra/snapdragon whatever...

Otherwise I will just keep buying diamonds on ebay after each one konks out...

Does anyone know what happened? I haven't heard any news at all so I'm assuming nothing was released?

yes nothing good and I'm very frustrated now but again SPRINT has the better Plans and good coverage here in NYC and everywhere i have gone. so i guess I'll be more patient and I'd probably get a HTC HERO in the mean while until they come out with a new phone probably with a dual core snap dragon.

I hear you, I'm on an older Free and Clear plan so I'm going to upgrade to the TP2. I can get it for $199 with my corporate discount with no mail in rebate and I think sprint is buying back diamonds for $65. So that would be $135 for a TP2. I'm going to check ebay prices on the diamond to see how much i could get for it on there but it's pretty beat up so my best bet I think would be to sell it back to sprint.
