@matchstickredgti it's maybe about half the truth. The low end Andy devices do perform terribly.

@eric12341

Yeah you're right, lower end devices are nothing to write home about. But you can have the higher end hardware and still have good battery life. It all depends on how your tweak your settings.

Right, you have to Tweak your settings...

WP7, right out of the box has much better battery life than MOST Android devices.

I have seen it, I know people with the EVO4g, Thunderbolt, and a few others, with normal user on the EVO4G they were getting 3-4 hours till they disabled 4G and added a 3rd party program to close apps. The Thunderbolt was worse till about the 5th upgrade...

Sure, you can get good battery life but, most need to be tweaked.... Not so with WP7...

well im glad you like your wp7 device but what your saying about android is false. i don't mind personal thoughts but lets watch the bashing as this thread could get ugly quick.

Re: Andorid on HTC Arrive

@fixxxer2008 I don't think I would care if people were bashing WP in the android section. I did correct his statement by saying it was only half true, although my cousins SGS2 started tweakin like crazy a couple days ago. I told her to hard reset it.

You're right about the battery life, out of the box with a stock ROM. It's abysmal.

But we all like tweaking our phones, don't we? Isn't that why we joined this site? I love tweaking my phone, it's a great way to learn new things and a great way to kill time at work. Not to bash and wp7 users, but isn't there a lack of customizations? I mean besides changing some tile colors?
