Re: Looking for Arrive w/o contract
This is the link where they had it for $349, but it looks like they raised the price to 499. I purchased it on Tuesday there for $349. HTC Arrive for Sprint - RadioShack Wireless

Re: Looking for Arrive w/o contract
When I spoke to the Radio Shack store rep, he actually did not know that Radio Shack did carry the phone and he couldn't find it in the inventory, so I promised to call back and check back with Radio Shack in few days...

Re: Looking for Arrive w/o contract
There were a few out of contract phones on Ebay, but for $449 or higher. I will keep looking... unfortunately my limit is $350 for now. It`s only a temporary phone until WP7 with 4G comes out. I don't particularly want to sign a new contract and I'm not sure if I'm going to stay with Sprint for much longer, so $350 is my limit for now.
If you guys notice it anywhere for 350 or less, please let me know. |

Re: Looking for Arrive w/o contract
Wow, "The Shack" had it for $350? Nice... I got mine @ the Microsoft Store because I had $100 in GC's, but oh well...

Re: Looking for Arrive w/o contract
well, my TP2 finally went nuts. I couldn't even make a phone call, the bars were going from Zero to 4 bars back and forth, restarted a few times, didn't help. So I took other things into consideration like unlimited data with Sprint and the fact that I'm getting a 23% discount and decided to just stop struggling and get the Arrive with the 2 year contract. This phone is way nicer then TP2, there is really no comparassing. It`s almost hard to say that this is in fact a Windows OS..... very impressive.

Re: Looking for Arrive w/o contract
I really think the best deal is found here:
HTC Arrive for Sprint: $49.99 - $25 Coupon = $24.99 @ Wirefly w/ new Sprint account + Free Activation +FS + CB - Slickdeals.net I'm looking to do this. Basically $24.99 for the phone with a new line of service. Pay the $200 Early Termination Fee. = HTC Arrive for $224.99 I don't know if there is any other fees or what have you but check into it. Port phone over to your existing line. I've been researching if I can get into the EPST to manually change the settings in order to activate it on Page Plus(Verizon). So far I've been a little gun shy because I haven't heard confirmation of anyone doing it yet.

Re: Looking for Arrive w/o contract
guys, I'm all set. I decided to just get the phone from Sprint and renew the contract. After discussing Sprint issues with my wife we decided that Sprint is still the bext carrier for us. I get 23% off, 4 line family plan. It comes out a lot less then comparable plans with AT&T, Verizon or TMO. Considering that data is unlimited with Sprint, i decided to stick around with Sprint. Since my old TP2 broke, I really did not have the option to wait or shop around.

Re: Looking for Arrive w/o contract
I saw a few new Arrive phone sold for $330 now on fleabay. If you are patience and use a snipping tool, then you can get a good deal.
Sell your Touch Pro 2 for about $100, and you can get a new Arrive for less than $250 and no contract. |
