HTC 7 Pro Gophone Network Capable?
So I currently have a WM6.5 device, the HTC TP2 that i successfully got to work on my GoPhone network (AT&T). After using the Rhodium Unlocker website and...long story short, I freed it from Verizon and am now using it on AT&T. (All of it can be found here)
So now I ask, is there something similar I can do with this HTC device (specifically this one since it is theif am capable of obtaining one in the U.S., to make it work on my network? For my TP2, I had to block off all extra data with "NoData"...would there be a similar program? thanks! |

Didn't I read someplace that the HTC 7 Pro was not a world phone (AKA, no sim slot). |

Re: HTC 7 Pro Gophone Network Capable?
but couldn't i just buy the GSM model somewhere and then somehow get it to work with AT&T gophone network? wouldn't that be a possibility as i assume any GSM phone can work on AT&T's network right?

Re: HTC 7 Pro Gophone Network Capable?
I didnt even know they were gonna make a GSM variant of 7 Pro..
as it stands the 7 Pro listed on Darrens link is for European and Asian GSM Networks.. but those frquencys are the same GSM US networks use as well... If they do in fact make a GSM 7 Pro, and it has a SIM, then I dont see why you wouldnt be able to do what yuour asking... If it comes out as CDMA only though, it wont happen.. |
Re: HTC 7 Pro Gophone Network Capable?
So, basically you can go and buy an unlocked GSM version of this (from EU source, or other) and it will work in US with T-Mobile?
Just making sure, because I am between this phone, and the upcoming Galaxy S II, and I am undecided! Thanks! amjman |
