i think credit is also due to more than just helmi. Yes, helmi is the mastermind behind these great releases and not only for the apache and deserves much acclaim and credit, but Colonel and luv2chill and i'm sure several others are the behind the scenes folks who have worked and are working on all these great things for us.

I think he was worried about flames because there are some people out there who would have tried to make the argument that it was a clever new way of getting more info. I don't see that as the case. I think it was a good question too. It's always good to get some sort of periodic update... even if it is something along the lines of "still working on it." In my world of development, customers want the specifics though... such as "Working on a bug that came up as a result of adding xyz module." But since we are only donating customers of helmi (and others like him), we cant really expect that level of granularity.

Well, obviously, like others I have no "right" to ask for anything.

That said however, personally, I'd like to see either a simple change log of what the known issues are at the time and which ones are being worked on at the present (one at a time, concurrently, etc.) and who is in primarily in charge of working on that specific issue (Helmi, Love2Chill, Colonel, Naigman, GGuruUSA, etc.).

Either that or a bug-tracker program that we can submit known bugs and hopefully offer up solutions (and/or others can offer up solutions) to allow a lot more eyes looking at known/unknown issues and perhaps move the project along a little faster.

In the past, PPCGeeks didn't seem to be so "secretive" about upcoming releases and what what (if anything) is in the works. Perhaps their dealings with Jeff Kirvin, XDA-Developers, etc. have changed things to the point where they now feel the need to be super-secretive about everything. Which of course delays releases IMHO.

Obviously, this is all speculation.

ya I wanted to ask sometime here. I was wondering how come it got so quiet on the kitchen front. I am in a rut atm with my 3.5 rom kinda causing me a little grief. Just a few little glitches that are getting anoying and or popping up randomly as time goes on.

I need a new phone because the screen has gotten useless in the center and I cannot align the screen nor use the phone as smothly as I once could. Time to see if i cant move onto my 3rd or get this one repaired.

If by any chance I could get a Mogule, is there any downside to upgrading to that device atm?
