is there a way to make a cab out of the files the oemizer extracts, so I can just have a cab file that will apply my settings if I want to try out a custom rom from someone else instead of cooking my own?

Good Question... I believe the answer is yes... do a search on the site here for "change OEM to CAB" or some variation and there is at least one tread that tells how to do this from the last 30 days or so... (I would post link, but don't have it handy...)

Can I rename the provxml file? What else do I have to change with renaming those files?

It says there are two of them in my kitchen and it won't complete.

you can add contacts via UC or sdconfig. just backup your pim.vol to the card, and then copy it back over during customization.

First thanks for this great utility... Now that everyone seem to be moving to the Visual Kitchen all the email setting does not work anymore... Will there be an update to the OEMizer to fix this..?

Yes I also notice if I check off the Today's items like calender or task it doesn't save. A new update is defintely needed.
