I just got my XV6800 and I have the Plantronics Discovery 640. I tried the fix at the beginning of the thread but its still not working. I say the name and its says you want to call xyz and I say yes but the mic disappears.

MSVC problems?

What problems specifically is this procedure supposed to be the fix for? My device announces calls over the bluetooth. It don't recognize certain contacts from my list when I tell it to call them........

Great work guys. This fix worked partially for me. I am still not able to use the conformation through bluetooth.
1. I press BT button and say "Call home".
2. She asks "Do u want to Call Home?
3. I say "YES"
4. I get a beep error.

This is the only problem I am having right now. I've tried a few fixes but I just can't get this part to work. As mentioned by others audiogateway is closed after she asks the question.

Keep up the good work....

Red face Re: The real fix for MS Voice Command and Wm6 rom

This is my first post, so I hope I'm doing this right. I read through all the posts and did not come across a working solution for the MS voice command problem on the Verizon XV6900. I just bought one, and have been trying to get it (MSVC) working the way it's supposed to. Here is what I have found. I installed the newest version I could find (1.6.19209) and almost nothing worked right, even with the fixes posted. I then tried the older ver. 1.6 and uninstalled all fixes (from here). I noticed that it will answer through my BT earpiece (both a blueant micro and the stock Motorola BT that came with the phone), but dings like there is no response after EVERY time it requests an answer. (ie when you say "call home" it will come back and ask "call home?" and it won't take your "yes") This, I found, happens on ANY response it needs, like "help", it asks "what help do you need...phone...calendar..etc... it will ding out and not hear your answer. If you un-check the "confirm when calling....." buttons in the VC-Phone settings when you say "Call home" or whomever, it will dial right out over the BT earpiece with no problems.
Well, I hope I explained it correctly, and I hope, maybe, that someone thats good at finding fixes for these things can use the observation.

Re: The real fix for MS Voice Command and Wm6 rom

Your best bet is to go to PPCkitchen and find a Rom for you phone then select VC from there. It is the only way i've gotten mine to FULLY work. btw I had the same issue as u for a while. http://ppckitchen.org/joomla/index.p...page&Itemid=55

Re: The real fix for MS Voice Command and Wm6 rom

Greetings all. I was having a problem with voice command announcing incoming calls/texts/mail to my bluetooth headset on my PPC6800. I installed the fix at the beginning of this post and all seems to work fine when the ringer and volume is on, but does anyone know how to get the notifications when ringer and volume is set to vibrate?

Your post didn't make sense, because for one there is no punctuation. Are you saying it works, or asking if it does work?

Lol... Yeah, I'm not sure. I never have used Voice Command... so I have no way to test it...
