Convert pim.vol to .csv or?

I have upgraded from WM5 to Helmi WM6 and need my 130 plus contacts. Many are not known from all over the world and only in mt pim file from WM5. I did start a thread and sync was tried. I don't want to have to revert back to WM5 then sync and then back to WM6 ect. Is it possible to write a program to convert this pim.vol file to something that can be imported by WM6? Please help if you can. Thanks, JAS

Save yourself the trouble and just revert. You'll find a similar thread I started over a week ago. I did a SPB backup which restores the PIM.vol file directly, which I didn't realize wouldn't work because of formatting changes. After 3 or 4 days of not getting anywhere with my searches to convert my PIM file, I reverted, backed up, and then upgraded again. It took me a total of 30 mins to go from wm6 to 5, and back again.

Find some time and just do it.

As someone mentioned to me in my thread, use PIMBackup, it doesn't just save the PIM file, instead it converts and stores the files to its own formatt.

I had sync problems with the other phone, that is why I copied the pim.vol file to the ext. memory and the computer. So I can't revert back. My outlook contacts are blank and the new Microsoft Mail is aloso blank as they could not sync with the bad phone. I have numbers on there for my meds that I have to order ect. I will make donations to the programmer that can do this for me. Please Please give it a try. Thanks, JAS
