Roaming Beep?

I just realized that my phone beeps when it roams. The "Default" beep/sound occurs ever so often when I'm roaming. I normally don't roam but for some reason I got stuck in "digital roaming". I don't care if I roam (free roaming) but that beep annoys me. I was wondering if anyone know's how to turn it off? I've gone through the sounds/notifications but there is nothing for roaming. Is there a regedit or something I can delete to stop it from beeping but allowing me roam? T.I.A.

Try under Phone/Menu/Options/Services scroll down to "Alert" and check "Disable"....which deals with service acquire and lost tone.

I had that problem with my first ppc6700 when ever I went in to my bed room the phone would go into roaming mode and beep at me witch gets annoying when the phone goes in and out of roaming 15 to 20 times a night . It drove me crazy I almost got rid of my phone because of it. That dam beeping was the reason I started “hacking” my phone I looked and looked and could not find a fix I had a stock rom, I disabled all the sound even the ringer. I searched every user group I came across. I tried several registry mods I tried disabling all sounds I could never find a fix. The only thing I could do is put the phone into flight mode turning of the radio. I dealt with it for about a year then my Dpad broke and Sprint replaced the phone under warranty my new phone doesn’t do make any noise I don’t want it to. If any one knows what the problem may have bed I’d kinda like to know just wondering
