Okay, I got it now. I *2'd and found a pretty good tec.

As it turned out, the MSN returned from the MSN Generator was one number off. The second digit was off by 1. The tech gave me the correct MSL and I was in and edited my MDN.

Yes it does look like that is the only solution. Good luck, and remember to take notes of the numbers, they could come in handy.
