Dude, Im so Fudgeing Happy!!!
Well I "accidentaly" broke my screen on my phone again so I took it to the Sprint Store to get replaced and they said they didnt have any in stock and that they would order me a new one. Well 3 days later I get a box on my door step and guess what it is a.........REFURBISHED PPC-67000
 Now you may ask why I am so happy about getting a refurb, but this is why. When I did ##786 I found out it was manufactured on 12/23/05. You know what that means? I CAN RECIEVE CALLS ON A DATA CONNECTION!!! All phones manufactured after April 2006 cannot recieve calls on an EVDO data connection. My previous one was manufactured after April so I was deprived of this ability, but not anymore. GOD, I LOVE MY 6700!

hahaha well good for you buddy. I myself am not worried about the feature. but I know the ppc can have wifi in use while making a call on my bluetooth headset. now that was cool.

the one thing i have noticed is the new phone i got that was manufactured after april seems alot faster and less buggy so im not sure i know from what ive read u can overclock the newer phones higher also......

just some phones u can overclock higher....I myself cant overclock it but to 520 anything else and it freezes....and cac9478 u lucky dog....I havent took mine in because I will need the evdo and calls at the same time.....if and when it becomes available in Eastern NC. Anyways I may just see if I cant go to the store and find one pre apirl.

Well i just tested this phone and I can overclock it to 624....I am soo friggin happy that I am going to take extreme care of this phone.

yep, also recently got one of the newer 6700's. it already has the second software update already put on. i also noticed that it wont let you view the esn in the ##786# menu. it does run alot better and havent had a problem with bluetooth yet like my other one.

cac9478, You are lucky getting a pre April 6700. But to me you are very lucky to have a store rep order you a phone and have it shipped to you. I would love the stores in Vegas to do that, but I end up complaining to CS or retentions to help me.

Man, your store sure loves you. This is like your 3rd replacement. Normally the store will tell you to call lockline. I guess this is the only case you're happy to get a refurb.

I went to the store said I was having a screen issue they took it to the back and said well we can fix it here's a brand new one.....and that's my stoy I've also had 3 two of them were pre april and seemed very buggy me and wife both got brand new ones with new rom already installed it seems to load faster and a lot less buggy....
