ringer working, all other sound not working
 

i've seen that this is a common problem with the Apache, i'm just wondering if someone could shed some light on the technicalities of the problem. It seems a little strange that the phone ringer still works but no other sounds from the phone do.
Anybody can explain this conundrum to me?

The phone thinks your headset is perpetually plugged in. Try plugging it in and out multiple times.

I had the same problem. From what we (tech dept and I) determined, the mini-plug receptacle (for earpiece) had jammed so that the phone always thought there was something plugged in. I sent it in for a replacement (still under warranty -- whew), and now I exclusively (well, almost ... 95% anyway) use BT earpiece.

NOTE: my plugged in earpiece still worked when I experienced the problem, and was the only way I could hear any calls or sounds other than the ringer.

mine doesn't work w/ the headset plugged in at all, only via bluetooth

is it possible for the apache to get stuck on headset mode with a bluetooth headset
