latest version of Palm threaded SMS app?

I haven't been involved with modding the PPC6700 in a long time; mine was working fine and I just didn't have time. Then mine started going screwy lately so I figured I'd check out some of the bug fixes out there. Holy HELL have I missed a lot. Threaded SMS was definitely something I was missing and lo and behold I can get it now. So the point behind that is that I'm WAY out of date on what's new for this device and hacking techniques but I'm trying to get caught up at least enough to get my 6700 up to speed; . (I updated radio to 1.41, I'm installing kirvin's latest ROM as we speak)

This is not a request for the app but the one I found says "This is the working Beta stages .CAB of the Palm Threaded SMS Application" and it's from way back in November of 2006. Should I keep looking for a later version or is that the latest to be found?

Go to Treocentral.com and the 700W/700WX forum. The first thread is a sticky with the latest version and installation instructions. That should be the latest version (for now). It should work with Kirvin's 3.5 ROM, but it will not work with Helmi's latest WM6.

Also, if you hang around the chat room, you might get someone to post it as an OEM, if you are inclined to cook your own ROM...

cooking my own ROM is a little beyond my skillset so far but maybe once I've learned more about it (I did find an OEM Optional_Palm_Threaded_SMS_b4_OEM1_0_0 but I had no idea what that meant)
