Voice Dialing by Digits with PPC6700 and Bluetooth
 

I have tried looking this up on search, but still haven't found any answers, so sorry if this is posted somewhere else.

Is is possible to use my bluetooth headset and voice dial by number if the number is not in my contacts? Maybe some program or something? My voice dial works great with bluetooth, but if my phone could do this I would be a very happy man! Now when I am driving, if the number is not in my contacts, I have to take the phone out of the case and bring up the phone touch pad and then try to dial the number.

I love my 6700 and this is really the only complaint I have with it so far.

actually with microsoft voice command, you can dial by number with bluetooth. that's a program that you have to pay for, not sure about any others. if you have anymore questions, let us know!

With Microsoft Voice Command, do I have to do a hack to get it to be able to use the bluetooth? I don't want to have to take my 6700 out of it's case to be able to dial by number for the numbers not in my contact list. I have Microsoft Voice command 1.5, but have not installed it yet. I read somewhere that it didn't support bluetooth, so I am kind of confused. I was also told by a rep at the sprint store that I would have to take my phone out of the case and bring up voice command, and then when it connects transfer it to bluetooth headset...that kind of defeats the purpose of VC and bluetooth.

I love sprint reps! they think they know everything! :D nope no doing nothing to ur phone but a registry hack is needed, but if u don't wanna do that then I created a performance enhancing .cab with the vc hack already done 4 ya! so install vc then install the apachehax vc edition and ur ready to go! Hope this helps. ps with hacks u don't have to go into the phone, just edit a few things in its registry. ;)

OK, one last thing...I downloaded the apachehaxvc125.zip.....that is the right one...right? When I unzip it, then the cab file will be there correct, then I just download to my ppc.
You really are amazing! I tell you what I will never believe anything I am told by a sprint rep. Everytime I have asked a question of them in the last couple years....I always get a different answer from every employee.

yes they always give me the run around too and never fixed my issues when I called either so I jus dove in and learnt wm5 more myself. :D anyways that's the right one. ;) install and ur fine and dandy! :)

ps u don't have to unzip it, just tap the .cab while in the .zip program, this will let ya install without unzipping by unzipping to the temp folder. ;)
