Had the same Problem
I had the same problem. Try going to start>settings>Connections>USB to PC , then disable the advanced network functionailty

If you did the update - use Windows Restore back to before the installation - 6.1 is does not work properly with the current driver. Problem fixed. I can even sync via Bluetooth now
