EMail Error

When I setup my corporate email using POP3 access, I get the following error:
554 <blank@yahoo.com>: Relay access denied

The following recipients did not recieve the message:
blank@yahoo.com

I have checked all of the email settings and they are correct. The server does not require authorization for outgoing mail, but I tried with and without that setting checked and still had no luck.

I would really appreciate any help.

Does your corporate use a POP3 server or are they using an Exchange server?

Have you ever been able to send mail from your phone using that account? If not, and your company uses an Exchange Server, it's possible that SMTP relaying has been disabled. If they don't use an Exchange Server, how is mail handled? Are they paying a hosting company to host their site and email? If so, check the provider's FAQs. They may have something about SMTP relaying.

Although it has nothing to do with the phone, the "relaying access denied" error is one I typically run into when attempting to send mail through my ISP account (an SMTP server on roadrunner.com) when I am on the road - i.e. not connecting through their cable modem. For spam control, some ISPs will simply not allow computers outside their own DNS umbrella to use their sending mail servers.
