Help XV6700 Repair

I dropped my 6700 and now when I put it in the charger te red light blinks and it will not charge. I have swapped batteries, tried resetting it, etc... I would like to repair it so I could retrieve the data. Anyone know where I can get if fixed?

UTStarcom will fix it (www.utstar.com). I believe they want a $75 deposit, which goes toward the repair cost. I've sent mine to them twice (due to my slippery fingers) and neither repair was more than $75.

Send a message via ICQ to Ahe
There is a more cheap method if u r a diyer. Just open the back shield, check the welding spot of charge port and batt port. Re-solider it if u see any loose. If it does not work, another way is bidding a apache for parts at EBAY, take the board and replace urs. after this, repair ur ESN according to the old one.
