Screen Alignment Daily??
I only have 1 gripe about my PPC-6700 is that when using the stylus, I sometimes get terrible feedback from the sensors in the screen. In any random direction, the range it is off is 1/4inch to 1inch. So I end up pressing anything but what I want. That leaves me to constantly switch from portrait to landscape views, and using keyboard, joystick to get things accurate. seems like I have to align everyday and still it acts up.
What are somethings that can be wrong? |
wow, that is anew one for me.....everyday??
hey look at ur 6700 and see if its kinda off centered. the second one i got the screen is not perfectly aligned.
if its acting up, take it back. i never heard of anyone with this problem before, maybe your not tapping it accurate enough
hey sonin i have the same problem with my new/old 6700.
to be honest it may be software related I once had this issue with mine and it happened for a couple of days...I hard reset, installed software I have full confidence in and havent had an issue yet. :D sorry.
i have all the same software installed as i had before so im thinking its a screen problem. if u look at line its about an 1/4 off to the right the whole screen. there more black on one side then the other like as if the lcd screen was not placed perfectly in the housing
my only gripe is my bt turns itself off imma call utstar tommorrow and talk to them i think some how my bt headset is actually turning the phones bt off itself kinda weird
I checked and the screen appears to be perfectly aligned. but Align screen option does not fix this. I can click in 1 spot and watch the screen jump the circle in random spots. also got this phone online and not from sprint does that matter for exchange? I do pay 3$ phone insurance.
I do not want exchange because the one I got from sprint was an old rom, this is newest. |
if simple to upgrade and yes the sprint store should replace it so I would stop by and try that....when the problem is happening tho, and if u want evdo and talk at the same time u gotta check the date it was made....see the rom upgrade thread 1st post for more on that. ;)
