How do i get rid of this ive cleared my text messages ive soft reset my phone nothing is working. Id rather not perform a hard reset.

there is a tool available to correct this. Im not sure where to download it independantly but its in the kitchen OEM folder as well as in the OEM folder of my own kitchen. sorry i dont have more info but its just an exe so copy the files from the OEM folder to your SD card and run it. it will clear the "ghost" unread msg

Here is one that I found. Didn't seem to work when I had that issue, but your welcome to try it. What I had to do was use PPCPIMBackup to back up all my contacts and messages and then do a restore and not include the text messages.

EDIT here are the other ones that I found.
