Cant text Help Please

So i loaded kirvins clean and simple and then my contacts wouldn't pop up and also it wouldn't sync to my pc. I kept getting an error code saying that there is not enough memory on my device to sink. I went to utstarcom and got the normal rom and can't text, send or receive. Any ideas. im through alltel if it makes a difference.
