6700 Battery question.

Is the 1500 Mah battery the largest capacity "extended" battery that will fit within the stock case? (Doesn't use a separate battery cover)

Thanx

for extra power I carry AA powered backup power source... it runs on rechargable AAs and I only use it when my phone starts screaming at me... I keep in the car for when I need to sit in any one place for like 8 hours or something without a charger and I need power to keep my MP3s going

Where you getting this 1500 mAH battery from? If it's polymer-ion and getting it from ebay beware. I just got one of them and while others reported decent performance, mine kept bloating until the battery door got a little bent. It also left this strange sticky residue on the inside of the battery door.

I haven't decided where to actually buy it from yet, but ebay is not an option. I have the Seido 3200, and it does last forever, but it's obnoxiously big. Thinking I'd just rather carry around a spare...
(I travel, fly alot (for work), don't always have convenient access to AC... I did try the AA powered portable mini usb recharger, but instead of charging the 6700, all I did was discharge the AA's!)

Well, I put the phone on the AA battery when I'm sitting down someplace for a long time that doesn't have power and I'm using the device.

I don't wait for the power to run out first... don't know if that helps you.

I've gotten one of those battery chargers before for another phone, however I had but found it would only charge up to 10% of the battery or so and then stop.

It means the charger you are using doesn't have enough Amps... You can probably still charge your phone fully with it, but you will need to turn off as much of it as possible to do so... (Close all running programs, Go to airplane mode, Remove the SD Card, Turn off the screen, etc...)

I just keep a spare battery in my car and in my briefcase. Works great for me... then again now that I cloned another 6700 and have two (duplicates) I just grab the one with the most charge before I head out.
