Can we get a new 3.5 ROM without Live Search?

When Live Search is updated.. we cant update the version that's on the ROM.. so we are forced to install a 2nd copy, taking up extra resources from the 2nd copy..

Can someone make a ROM based on the new kitchen that was released stripped of live search?

Thanks =P

You could easily do this yourself.

Just go cook up a rom with a kitchen. The instructions you find here, make this quite the simple task. Just do a bit of reading, and you're on your way.

If I had the extra time in my life I totally would make a rom.. only put HTC software along with the new wm6 stuff and leave everything else out..

cept I work all day and then when I get home, I'm stuck with the girlfriend.. I have like..no free time.. it sucks.

My new Sprint ROM will have pretty much what you describe, but it will also have Live Search 2.

And you have a girlfriend. Shut up.

1. Download/Unzip Kitchen

2. Check off everything you want or don't want in Build-OS

3. Hit the play button.

4. Run CreateRom.bat and follow directions, and it'll start flashing for you.

It's really that easy if all you want is allready in the kitchen. It actually takes longer to flash a ROM than it does to make one

I can safefully say (after downloading and unzipping) I have built a custom rom and flashed it to my phone in under 10 minutes. And I'm pickey! I go through like three times making sure I have all the apps I want check and all the ones I dont unchecked. It's not as hard or time consuming as you'd think.

I got bored and put up a 1.04 ROM for Sprint and Verizon. There's no Live in it.
