PLEASE HELP!!! My apache is useless if someone can't help me

I have posted about this before but received no replies. Ever since a few flashes ago, I have had a problem syncing my calendar items from Outlook to my Apache and vice versa. Everything else syncs fine but gives me an error saying that the calendar items could not sync. It says Support Code 1. I have Activesync 4.5. I am using BigJs latest kitchen. I have tried other ROMS. I tried reinstalling Activesync. I use Outlook 2007. Please please please help me. Thank you

Try deleting your old profile from ActiveSync. I am assuming that when you flashed the new rom you had to set up your device with ActiveSync again, probably under a different name?

Have you tried using detect&repair under Help?

I had to create a new profile when I reinstalled Activesync. Does uninstalling Activesync not fully remove the old profile?

Not necessarily. Most of the time when you uninstall a program, the user settings are not removed incase you want to reinstall the program later. There should be a setting in AS that will allow you to delete your old profile. I dont remember what it is titled but it should be something related to Profiles or Manage Connections or Accounts? Let me know if this works.

If that doesn't work, connect your PPC to your PC. After it syncs, in the AS program (on your PC), right click on "calendar," then choose "settings." Where it says "synchronize the past" make sure "All" is chosen (I believe it defaults to 2 weeks). That should fix your problem. Let me know.

The "hundreds of items" is a dead give away that you have been flashing your phone and syncing it under different names. the18thtee is right, you need to delete the AS profile. You also NEED to go through outlook's calendar and delete EVERYTHING (this WILL remove any and all appt's you have and/or had). To do this, open outlook and go to the calendar. Then go to View>Arrange By>Current View>By Category. You should see the hundreds of repeats there. Then Edit>Select All. Press the delete key on the keyboard and answer in the positive to any of the Microsoft "Are you sure!?!?!" questions.

This is what I had to do to get rid of my hundreds of repeats of appts. On a side note, it's always a GREAT idea to delete the AS profile BEFORE flashing as to avoid AS from creating dups of outlook appts. And always make sure AS is in the "replace item on device". If you don't do that, then outlook will start duping all of the appts for each name the phone is synced under...
