Check out: http://ppcgeeks.com/helmi-official-a...hes-t6796.html. There is an OEM called Carrier Customizations with Cellular Data Network disabled.zip. Put that in your Kitchen and no #777.

Take out the period at the end of the link. It was just going to a default "not found" page

First thing I do when setting up my Apache is install Modaco Nodata. It leaves the connection intact, but turns it off in the registry like the flip of a switch. I still want the connection because I need it for MMS so I do not want it completely removed (and I think it shouldn't be removed because someone made the mistake of using data and is pissed about it, your mistake cost you 87 bucks buddy, not the kitchen, get it straight).

http://www.modaco.com/FREE-Utility-t246171.html

Is it possible to make an OEM of that and include it in 1.04? I have never made an OEM, but this program is tiny so I just usually install it as a CAB on the device.

You're not the first or the only to have had this problem. Here are the carrier customizations with #777 disabled. You'll get a second group of NoData carrier options in the kitchen - Just pick the no_data carrier OEM (not the regular one plus the no_Data - just the no_data).

These were built against the 1.02 kitchen.

EDIT: crud. exceeded upload limit. uploading to ftp.

What in the hell makes you think that anyone else is going to help you with that attitude after someone is trying to help you....

Stop being a jerk-off and be thankful that you have people that dedicate their precious time and efforts towards making these kitchens, roms, etc.

Its because of them that we have all these great and highly functional and advanced roms.

And its your fault for not disabling it when you flashed, knowing that its on by default for us that actually know that a data plan is absolutely necessary with this phone.

Heck, if you dont like paying $40 for the unlimited on Verizon, jump to Sprint and pay $15 and have faster data anyways.

just adding my part... but where else do you think that magical internet was comming from on your phone? It takes a while to download the kitchen, even on evdo speeds. Plenty of time to cancel the download...

Anyway, like its been said in other places; people give freely here, I have just been so lucky to benefit from it. You will get more in here and any place by being a decent person, ya know.. please and thank you, not ripping someone's head off thats trying to help you...

I'm actually looking for the complete opposite...

Is there an OEM that ONLY includes the #777 setup and nothing else? Thanks so much!!

Best,
MJB
