XV6700 will not sync! Please Help!!!
 

I posted long ago trying to get past the align screen, well now I believe Ive found an application that will bypass it...

Now it wont sync with activesync 4.5...

Ive done hard resets, PC reboots, multiple PC's etc... (Using XP)

PLEASE HELP ME! I really want to use this thing!

Bro, there have to be a hundred or more thread on this already......really.

Have you uninstalled and reinstalled AS?

Did you check your firewalls?

Does your PC even detect the connecting of the device?

Have you tried it in Safe Mode?

How many PCs and laptops have you tried it on?

Have you used different USB cables?

And none of them helped. Just because Im new doesnt mean I dont know how to navigate a forum... Spent many hours reading the same redundant **** that didnt help...

As soon as I turn it on it seems to detect and then act as if I pulled it out...

Also I got into what I think is the boot loader, just to see, and all its says is serial. Dont know if that matters, just thought Id throw that out there...

Your excuses will not work with us, sorry. You need to learn to search. Asking for someone to repeat everythng over for you is not gonna happen. Even more so in a forum that has become as dead as the Apache forum...

Listen, here is one thing you might not have tried, go to settings>connections>USB to PC, uncheck 'allow Advanced functionality...' If it's not there try in Settings>System>USB to PC.

And the device is NOT gonna sync in bootloader. It needs to be booted up. Really, come'on this is PPCGeeks, not Sprint Users or HowardForums. Don't make these forums look trashed like those forums do with all these noob questions answered ten-thousand times.

If you haven't noticed I already tried ALL the things I found in SEARCH!!! Why am I still getting bashed??? I have searched, read tons of threads and as you can see Ive tried what I have read!

Second Im still having the issue of the align screen. So I cant go into anything...

I was speaking of the bootloader just in case it pertained, excuse me.

Ok, confirmed dead... :disgust:

Just tried a friend of a friends 6700 on two of my PC's it it worked perfectly... S0 trash it goes =D>

Im going to get (possibly) a PPC6800 :mrgreen:

Don't get a 6800. You will hate it. Get the Vogue or Touch Pro. The 6800 has more problems than your kid's math book.

Whoa, thanks for that. I was just about to get it!

Im up for anything that has a slide out QWERTY (side, not under) and Windows Mobile. Do those have that? What else matches my wants?

EDIT: Way out of price range, but it is what Im looking for.

The Touch Pro is kinda expenseive, (even more so for Verizon). I wouldn't reccomend that actually, most people on here are Sprint, so I usally tell them to get that, even though I don't buy one cause I'm not on Sprint.

The Verizon Pro is kinda like an Upgraded version of Mogul, but is locked up like all VZW phones are, and is still new, so "cracking" isn't completed yet.

You should try out a Vogue, (HTC Touch). It is nice and small, if you use SPB keyboard you don't need a hard keyboard. I never use mine of my Mogul.

But to answer your question, either the Touch Pro or Mogul is what you are wanting, so no way around it. It's just sad that Verizon cpripples their phones. And using a Sprint phone on Verizon is not working at the moment...

Give the Vogue a try though, really great phone, inexpensive too.
