ppc6700 wm6 sms error

So i just saved my dying 6700 and honestly so far LOVE wm6, and spent numerous hours preparing to do the rom install.

My ONLY problem is with texting. and im sure its been asked before [but search feature says sms is to short and text messages pull up nothing...], but when i recieve a text, the person it says its from is actually the first word of the message.

FROM: HEY
BODY: Whats up

So what exactly do i do to fix this? im sure theirs a solution out their.
