Hi all,

Just want to share how my today screen looks like. This is the screen I like to look every day, I am comfortable with all the settings and my xv6700 running smoothly.
As of right now, I've been configuring & softreset for more than 30 times, haven't got any problem with the kitchen since installed on 08/07/07, yet

I use :
- VZW XV6700, Helmi's AKU 3.5 R-1.0.4 kitchen, Radio Rom 1.41.00.
- Showing date & time on the top bar also change today's font color with Tweaks2K.
- pBar, down arrow on the top right, which I think is better than X-Button.
- Kitchen's today's time/date & last call along with the battery status bar on the very top of the screen (red,yellow,green).
- Metrix indicator/status for memory, storage & backlight adjuster.
- Traylaunch with tomtom, oxios hibernate, nodata.
- psShutXP & PDANet on the tray.
- Background picture of me & my wife with 0 transparency.

That's it, everything else still using kitchen's default setup (dialer, contacts, etc). I think it's going to stay like that until the next 'great kitchen' released

* Tweaks2K 3.28 (Shareware) - http://www.tweaks2k2.com/
* pBar 1.3e (Freeware) - http://forum.xda-developers.com/atta...entid=37077&d=
* Metrix 1.1 (Freeware) - http://www.freewarepocketpc.net/ppc-...tion-v1-1.html

^that's the link. Although the program isn't perfect, it doesn't some wat justice on the today screen. Also if u have Magicbutton or something like that, it'll leave a sqaure on the right corner of the top taskbar (where the 'ok' or 'x' button is) showing the actually color of the taskbar. But it's all on that page. I have the first zip, someone else just posted the v1.1 but i haven't tried that out yet.

The reason it doesn't show the square for me in that pic is 'cause i disabled Magicbutton when i took the screen shot. Ooo btw.. yea it's the Apache lol almost forgot to mention that.

Slight change from my last post...
The taskbar clock no longer shows while on the today screen, I went all gray instead of yellow for the date/time, and I switched to SketchPB skin from Juni's B&W. PB is set to show all messages under today's title if I have any, as well as all tasks and appointments on that one calendar screen so I don't have to tab around.

It really kicks a$$..
Looks pretty awesome, but yeah same question as the other guy asked...how well does your device handle it? Does it slow it down any at all?
It runs ok as long as it's run off of main memory. just takes 2 seconds between portrait to landscape. that's about the worst of it..

I used skinmobile5 for my wm6 bars. Works pretty well, until you switch to landscape mode. That and you can't use cleartype or else it looks a bit wonky :-/ (Also I think WBA 3 beta can do it as well, but it's a bit heavy on the resources.)

Here's the SkinMobile5 Link if that helps.

Edit: http://ppcgeeks.com/wm6-top-bottom-b...wm5-t5182.html Is the thread discussing it. Apparently there's a version 5.1 out now that fixes the landscape mode problem and some of the other stuff.

My still somewhat boring one, using different software:

1.0.4 kitchen
first block is all rlToday. Blurry bit is Owner Name Calls/SMSs is number missed

Having all that (carrier name, date, big clock, call/sms misses, owner name, and actual battery %) in one today item saves a ton of space.

And look, my data arrows are idle. Whee!

Yup, the images below r w/ the new verision of SkinMobile (colonel has the same version in english *in the same thread*) Also i'm running HTC x-button, which doesn't cause the lil corner, where the 'X' and 'Ok' button is, to stay in 2D. I believe Phoenx06 has the cab file also uploaded in the same thread.
