My Today Screen is a work in progress. It is based upon hanmin's iPhone efforts at xda-developers.com, and I cannot thank him enough. That being said, I am using cLaunch for the top icons and phoneAlarm for the bottom icons.
I am using Pocket Secure to lock my mobile, as it allows skinning. Using the iPhone lock screen as a reference, I took it upon myself to rebuild it from scratch, with adjustments made for where Pocket Secure positions its time and date. (If you look closely, you will see that the Clown Fish are in a slightly different position on the screen than in the original iPhone lock screen, due to it being rebuilt from scratch.) I would prefer finding a way to skin the built-in lock screen, but adding the time and date in a similar manner would be difficult or impossible.
I chose to keep the menu bars because VJToggleToday became too unpredictable. Every time I used the keyboard and the display switched to landscape, I would need to run VJToggleToday again. I wanted something consistent, even if the final result is not as clean as it could be.
I will update this post as time allows me to work on the skin. I am also looking into skinnable applications to carry the theme through to the application level. So far, I have found a skinnable calculator and will begin working on skinning that after I finish the lock screen.
All of this being said, I think that I will soon grow bored of this look. I already have sketches and preliminary Photoshop work done for a crisp, clean Windows Mobile UI replacement. At least Microsoft doesn't threaten to loose the lawyers on me for expressing myself in this manner.
