search the forum for "UNI bootloader" it'll get you out of that bootloader mode.

Hope it helps.
Good luck.

First, you need to take phoenx06's advice and calm down, then run that program he attached. You don't want activesync running anyways. You want the screen to say "USB".

I have the same problem also but the program doesn't seem to work

I have an XV6700 and it seems that this radio update is for the PPC-6700

I downloaded the new 1.4 update for Verizon but I can't get out of the bootloater

I have tried this program.

I get an error

Cannot open USB port.
Please make sure, that USB connection in ActiveSync is disabled.

Also make sure, that your uSB cable is properly connected.

I'm running Windows Vista Business x64 Edition
Also tried with admin privs, same result

Seems like a lot of people have problems with rom updates using vista. Do you have an XP machine you can try it on? The radio update will work on your phone, I used it on my verizon branded phone just fine.

Yep, Vista is kinda screwy when it comes to flashing your phone. I would definately advise using an XP machine.
