Selecting Save results in... "An unexpected error has occurred in HTCustom.exe. Select Quit and then restart this program, or select Details for more information." ...tweaks seem to take effect, but the error makes me cautious. =#3= Today Screen refresh: Quote:

The following files are missing from the package... clg_in.gif clg_miss.gif clg_out.gif ...this causes the icons to be missing in the dialers calls list. =#7= OEM\Optional_OneNoteMobile=12.0.4518.1010: Quote:

Time synchronization isn't working for me currently using the Verizon carrier OEMs. This has been reportedly fixed by using the Radio ROM from the new 3.3 package. official 3.3 rom release from utstarcom? === Addressed Issues === These fixes may or may not apply, or be applied in the next kitchen. =#1= Too many BuildOS items defaulted: Both the... -CaptianJager and HTC Touch themes -HTC Smart Dial and reTouched Dialer ...are selected by default. This cause the build process to fail. To address this ensure only one of each of these is selected. =#2= Build Problem: The encoder tool remembers wherever it last loaded a file from, so if you have multiple kitchens you need to be sure you are selecting from the appropriate folder as later paths get based on the .prj location. If you watch in the CreateROM.bat you'll see... "Be sure you are selecting the .prj file from the appropriate "\Tools" directory." ...which is an obscure warning about this. See the CreateROM patch below to... -Get better formated, more explicit instructions -Avoid the Encoder overwrite file warning -Eliminate the final pause =#3= OEM\HTC_Audio_Manager: The "HTC Audio Manager" option has a dependency on the "Windows Media" package. Be sure both are selected if you would like the HTC Audio Manager. =#4= OEM\Optional_TrayLaunch: Blank, non-functional icons appear in the task area if any of the following OEM packages aren't installed at the same time... -Optional_TaskMgr&RegEditor -Optional_Total Commander -Optional_acbToggleBT -Optional_psShutXP Quote:
I recall there being a limit to the number of items one could include. Is that still true? If not, or the limit is far off, could we work out sub-installs for each of the icons? =#5= OEM\Optional_Verizon_Settings: Today items that connect to the internet at startup (such as Weatherpanel) will causes the phone to connect to the data network on first boot, and until the data network is disabled This can be addressed by updating OEM\Optional_Verizon_Settings to disable the data network. Optional_Verizon_Settings: Edit "mxipcold_oemoperators_100.provxml"... Code:
<characteristic type="Data Network Connect">
<parm name="DestId" value="{08464ADC-C65D-4c63-86D2-6FCA0F1388BD}" />
<parm name="Enabled" value="0" />
"OneNoteMobile" is dependent on the "Office" option. To resolve this select the "OneNoteMobile Only" package. =#6= VoiceCommand: Both Voice Command packages require "voicecmd.exe" to be functional. Without that they cause an error on startup. To correct for this: -Deselect "Microsoft Voice Command 1.6 UK Version (Choose Either US or UK Version) **Requires VoiceCmd.exe" -Select "Cyberon Voice Commander" ...or... -Add your the appropriate "VoiceCmd.exe" file to OEM\Optional_Voice_Command_1.6_US_OEM1.0.0 ...or... OEM\Optional_Voice Command 1.6 UK OEM1.0.1 -Rebuild dsm I created extra OEM packages to copy VoiceCmd.exe over, that I just drag between releases. Since VoiceCmd.exe can't be included in the Kitchen package, perhaps the free "Optional_Cyberon_Voice_Commander" should be the default. =#7= Java Default Font Sizes: Quote:

Anyone try the reTOUCHed Dialer?... it says smartdial included so I unchecked the HTC smart dial box... but no smart dialer comes up. I will try and reflash w/ smart dialer enabled and see what happens.
edit: NOPE, checking smart dialer produces a buildOS.exe error 'DPadMenu.dll aready exists'...

Even though I chose "notifyme" in the kitchen (BuildOS is still open and i see it checked), it doesn't seem to have installed. Not a bug unless someone else confirms it.
Edit: It's in /Windows just doesn't show in programs or settings. Problem solved. I guess that's what "disabled notifyme" means as listed in changes. |
