Re: Bricked 6700

I'm going to assume you 'bricked' your 6700 the same way i 'bricked' mine. Are you seeing the first boot screen and then nothing?

If so, I did it by trying to flash a ROM using Windows Vista and did not have everything setup properly. Using a XP machine allowed me to flash the stock ROM without any problem.

If this story sounds familar, the following post by PDAPhoneJunkie should help: http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=49837

Right click on the stock ROM and "Run as administrator".

Re: Bricked 6700

No. Running as Admin on a stock ROM isn't gonna help. Since he reverted bootloader (stupid choice by the way), the stock ROM doesn't use NoID RUU, which is required for that cheap 2.02 bootloader. You have to take the radio and garbage out of a stock ROM and get a NoID RUU.

Re: Bricked 6700

I don't know what to tell ya then. But it is not "bricked". Bricked means it absolutly will not function. The Apache has yet to see those days.
