official 3.3 rom release from utstarcom?

what program did you use to remove those two files?

When I try to flash rom (after removing files Luv2chill recommended) I get error message:ERROR 120: COUNTRY ID ERROR ....... not designed to work on your device...

I have Verizon. I did soft reset as instructions stated should I hard reset? put it in bootloader mode ? both?

Any help would be appreciated.

I had this too when I tried to flash with the new radio. I removed the radio and I was able to flash.

On this ROM, under Network service, I have HOME, prefered - A and prefered -B. Doesn't sprint customizations modify this?

i used the ROMUpgradeUt.exe from another installation and i got it to work. But it also got me stuck in bootloader,its simple to get out of.

i use winrar to extract the contents of the original installer then i took the RomUpgradeUt.exe from Kirvin Clean and simple and replaced the one in the output folders extracted from the installer. its dated 5/16/07....its was the only one that would work for me.
