i'm able to get to the view, edit, cancel screen, if i put in##778#. it then asks me for an unlock code if i choose edit. how do i get this code? do i just call sprint?

Is it not the ##778 or ##778# or is that just for VZW because Ive never seen the ##000000#

LOL......we posted at the exact same time. Once you get to that screen where you are you will need the MSL code which you have to get from a Sprint Rep. There used to be a MSL generator but I havent seen it around it quite a long time. Sprint Reps will give it to you though.

On a side note, the only time I have seen 000000 being entered is on that same screen you are at BUT it is for VZW and not Sprint. Again, for Sprint you need what is called the MSL code. Call Sprint to get it. Good luck.

Here's the MSL program. put both files on your SD and run the .exe to get your MSL.

THANKS!!! I have a PPC 6700 with a custom Rom and I was not able to program. I had the MSL code and I was able to program this phone using the ##778# code. Glad to stay around this forum. :)
