Re: Can I flash and not have to pay for data plan?

So if I understand, you don't want data access on your Apache because you've got it on another device and want to let the Apache access the internet through that other device? I've been doing that for years...

What makes you think you need to flash it? All you have to do is... *cough* (god this is painfully obvious it hurts me to write it...) *cough*... JUST TURN IT OFF ON YOUR PLAN! Not entirely sure why that even needs to be asked

Just log into your Verizon account and, uh, switch off your data plan or switch it to "pay per KB". Then go to your connection options and remove the Cellular Line connection that dials #777 through the Cellular Line. Then you'll never get charged per KB. No flashing required... :P

Re: Can I flash and not have to pay for data plan?

Because you will be bringing you own device and not buying it through VZW you will NOT be required to have a data plan. You can also delete the data connection on your device and have VZW add a data block on your acct. As said earlier, you do not need to flash to do any of this but flashing will get you a better ROM and overall device in the long run. PM me for a fast abd stable ROM for VZW. It is super simple easy.

Re: Can I flash and not have to pay for data plan?

why are you going from a dare to an apache. i know that winmo is better than their opperating system you would prolly be better off selling your dare on ebay or something you could prolly get enough for a mogul/xv6800 depending on the condition
