@dopeweasel, polargoat, perfect hybrid

my reaction may have not been the best but i don't appreciate people calling me a thief without knowing who i am. DopeWeasel i saw that post on pdaphone home and it's just my luck that something like that gets posted but i assure that was the first time i ever went to pdaphone so check the ip addresses because it's not me. by getting help with the phone i was hoping to be a part of this community in contributing as much as i could but i see some people just like to make assumptions instead of offering some genuine help.

ps i hope the user on pdaphone returns the phone or something because my psp was stolen from my house by my sisters friend and i still haven't got it back which sucks.

My guess is he's not coming back, but if he does I think we should help him.

If the phone was lost/stolen it would have been reported and the ESN would be blocked, then he's shit outta luck.

In that case, it would be better to help him. If we don't, he'll sell the phone and get $. If we help him but the phone gets fuck't up because the ESN is banned, he may learn a lesson.

But probably not.

Crooks are crooked. My buddy just had his phone (Palm Treo) stolen, lucky bastard. It was a company phone, so when they told him it was stolen, they got him a brand new HTC Titan/Mogul/P4000. On that note, anyone know if there will be a WM6 upgrade ROM released anytime soon for the Titan? I know that WM6 is already on the Sprint Mogul, but in Canada, Telus decided to be dicks and release their P4000 with WM5.

What are you talking about? Several people, including myself, have already offered fixes for him. I suggested he look up how to hard reset the device, PolarGoat suggested that he search Google for "unlock xv6700"... both of which would provide sigma68 with the results he desires if in fact he is being truthful.

EDIT: Honestly, this is starting to get annoying. Nothing but flaming is going on in this thread... someone should lock the topic and throw away the key.

hard reset did the trick and phone is fully functional again. thanks for your help.
