Technically yes....I mean u can do almost everything but u do get a few extra added features like the direct push, increased speed from landscape to portrait that can't be done with a hack.

--Device Lock
--New Connection Manager --Built in Voice Speed Dial --Better memory management --lots of "under the hood" modifications --Corrected an issue where unknowingly, to the user, the device would enter into "Flight Mode" --Better protection of device data and management of devices + all the aforementioned like PUSH email (activesync/exchange). Also, although there are "hacks" you can do on the pre-ROM update phones, you'll never match the speed and stability of the updated ROM phones. Just the way it is. Basically you're much better off doing it than not if you really want to enjoy the 6700. |

- They have the in-dialer phonebook..... Not sure if you can hack to get this, but I like it.
- You no longer have to worry about hitting your "End' key ONLY twice to end a call, the "Flight-mode" is not as easy to get in to. (This is huge for me) - The back-light problem that a lot of people complain about (including myself) is no longer an issue. Thats all that I can think of, on top of Malatesta's list. |

sure you will as long as its a older manufactored device. Which it sounds like it is since u can do it in the first place. After the rom update just do the hack to re-enable that....a.k.a. the EVDO ring through hack.
