Kevdawg, when you flash to the stock sprint rom does your prl stay with the latest or does it revert back to 20224?

Peace,
Polar

It reverts back to 20224

This is due to the PRL being part of the stock Sprint extended rom. if you watch during a hard reset when the extended rom is installing its apps you will see the prl being installed also.

i know Polar would have gotten to this too, i just wanted to save him the time. ;)

You can find PRLs for the major CDMA providers here:

http://www.corolada.com/prl/

It's really easy to update on the 6700... here's how I do it (the # code is for Alltel, YMMV for different providers):

1. Get the PRL on your device (I keep them in my ActiveSync My Documents folder, or you could put it on your miniSD card)
2. Dial ##775 (##PRL)
3. Enter the unlock code (provider-specific... Alltel's is 000000)
4. Tap on "Update PRL" and then "Edit".
5. A file browse dialog will come up. Browse to the PRL file you placed on the phone, tap "OK" and then "OK" again. The device will soft reset and you will have the new PRL in place.
