Re: Can't sync with Windows 7??
So 7 is pure beta and obviously going to have its own issues for now and for some time in the future. Not to mention they have thier own forums set up. YOu guys are just going to have to likely wait until another build gets released and patches or updates made to it.

Re: Can't sync with Windows 7??
No patch needed here. Just Uninstall and reinstall. I am also using the 64 bit version, which may or may not make a difference.

Re: Can't sync with Windows 7??
If you are still using your XV6800, and Windows 7 (64 bit), DO NOT go to the Verizon wireless website. Verizon wants you to buy a new phone, so helping you with an old phone is not in their best interest. Click on the link below
VZAccess Manager Answer the following questions on the website: 1. What operating system are you using? (Windows 7) 2. What device are you using? (PDA / Advanced device) 3. What hardware are you using? (Verizon Wireless XV6800) You should see this file pop up. VZAccess Manager v7.3.2 (2506b) for your Verizon Wireless XV6700, XV6800, XV6900, XV6950, S Download and install. Once installed, Windows Mobile Device Center (WMDC) will work with your XV6800 phone running WM 6.1. I can use every aspect of WMDC with my old XV6800. The sync works flawlessly, all of my contacts, appointments, tasks, and media are able to sync with my PC running Windows 7 (64 bit) |
