ThreadedSMS How-To Uninstall?

Okay, so I installed the ThreadedSMS cab on my Verizon 6700... I really like the app, but it's VERY flakey, to the point I want to get rid of it... Here in lies the problem...

Evidently there is no way (or easy way) to remove it... I'm wondering if anyone has any tips on getting rid of this thing?

Thanks!!

-Corey

If you unstalled it in ROM as an OEM using the kithcen, the only thing you could do is reflash without it. Anything in ROM cant be removed the usual way

lol, thanks for the help anyway ...

I tried to do it from remove programs and go an error that the application was not fully removed, and then my contacts and phone apps stopped working, so I had to do a hard reset then restore...

Luckily SPB Backup restores work VERY well, haha

Once installed, the only way to remove the Threaded SMS is to perform a hard reset.

Well, that's the odd part.. I did a hard reset and it wasn't there... I then restored from a backup from the 19th (I installed the threadedsms yesterday, the 20th) and upon restoring it came back! That's the weirdest thing!!

I really like the app and may just limp along with it for a bit until it REALLY pisses me off, lol..

That's odd. When you hard reset, was the regular sms app was the default? If it isn't, then it sounds like the threaded sms is built into the ROM you are using.

Well you did restore the backup. You must have told it to backup/restore your apps as well as your contacts and info. Is there an option in Spb Backup to select what gets backed up? You need to do a backup without the application, then hard reset, then restore again.
