this looks great but has anyone gotten this to work?

Matrix 07-02-2007 06:15 AM

I think many people aren't aware of the fact that you must place everything in your root directory - meaning all the directories, itask.exe, etc.

Does it rely on wisebar advanced? First post in the first url of your post seems to say it does?

Matrix 07-02-2007 12:43 PM

I think it only relies on Wisbar to skin the top bar (with the start button, signal strength, etc). It worked alright for me without it.

hm

Works fine for the most part. But I would like to tinker with it and correct a few buttons and settings that are off a bit.

by all means my brother, we would be greatly in your debt

IM0001, be aware that it's still being actively developed by rhov23 here: http://www.lakeridgesoftware.com/for...ad.php?t=11402

kingnike04, unzip it to a directory, then take everything:

Help files
itaskmort
itaskpics
itasktext
itask.exe

And move it to your root folder. If you don't know what "root" means, it's the same place as Windows, Program Files, etc.

This app is Awesome!!! I'm following the thread on Lakeridge & am running version Alpha 3 on my Verizon XV-6700. All apps/buttons are working fine. I am NOT a programmer. But, the app was very easy to configure & customize!

I had to change the scripts to match the 6700, after going through & testing them all. Below are the Control Panel numbers, apps, & codes that I'm using. These can also be used to build shortcuts for other apps. . . . Sorry if this is old news to some. ;)

I'm also running .exe's & games from their individual panels. Working on my custom buttons/icons now! :D My only issues are the 24-Hour clock & Weather in Celcius.

FYI, I'm running my own customized rom from the Unified Rom Kitchen.
