Skype and Operating System

I'm going to upgrade my WM5 Apache to a either WM6 or 6.1 using the kitchen. I want to make sure that after the upgrade I am able to use Skype. Is there anything that I need to be careful about as far as version of WM or version of Skype that will work?

I downloaded skype from their official site,works fine with wm 6.1
