if you have insurance, remove battery, wrap phone in paper towel, and introduce phone to microwave for 2 seconds...then when it don't turn on.... take it to sprint and tell them that while it was charging, the overheat warning keeps coming on...and now it won't do anything....and then when they say they don't have one, and will upgrade you to a 6800, feel free to thank me...

Yeah that's another method. But, the 6800 for Sprint is on backorder right now, I think. There was another guy around here who got a Touch Pro for his Apache. If I was on Sprint I would be trying all I could to get a Touch Pro, but being on Verizon I am goingto stick with the 6800.

I do have insurance but I'm a little worried that they'd take my phone, which works perfectly except for the USB port, and replace it with a refurb that might have other issues. If they are going to do that then I'd just as soon try to fix the USB port myself.

Of course, if Sprint is handing out Touch Pros, I might reconsider.;)
