this works all we need now is a program that will show this on a map

for people having trouble this is a step by step for vzw

1. Have location on
2. Dial ##33284
4. Hit the 1x and select gps
3. Press send key dial 922 tap x in the corner
to get back to the gps debug
4. A-GPS on your Apache

*Note: Dont end the call with 922 if u want updates

****P.S. Make Sure 922 does not redirect you to 911 in some towns it happens in others it does not also dont panic and hang up if its the 5-0 lol they will call back just be like sry wrong number and they willl hang up on you lol **************

Actually we need an api that supports the GPS... being that one doesn't exist, there's no way to communicate the information that you see in fieldtrial to a gps program.

Sprint currently allows a free 14 day trial of the family locate plan - so I got it. It finds my phone but does not populate the GPS data in the fieldtest window. all n/a's. Wondering why this is...

Another note... the sprint locate only allows 100 per month...

I hate to give up on this quest, I've been hunting for 2 years now...

I know the feeling man...but i gave up and went with the Mogul...and i couldn't be happier since the kitchen works for it too (that was the only thing that keep me with the Apache, the kitchen). Plus the mogul does the same thing and it is a lot smaller....
dont get me wrong, i have much love for the Apache...

hmm.. maybe it *IS* time to upgrade like you've suggested in other posts I've read... I'll have to think about that this week.

So the KITCHEN does work? And all I would have to do is switch to the mog settings instead of the apa?

I'm with Verizon, and what I did was enter the phone code [debug]33284 which brought up a menu, and I used the pull down on the left and selected GPS....
So how do I enter the 922 now ?

You are between step 3 and 4. After you select GPS it says to hit the send key which brings up the dial pad and the press 922 and you can follow the rest.

Ok, I got it but I get the "wrong number" error that some people are getting so it doesn't work on my phone....so close...

which wrong number if its not police then your fine just check the debug screen after the call to see if theirs coordinates
