Activesync wont work

Ok I have a xv6700 and I cannot get either of my computers to recognize it on the usb link, I can get WMDC to work on my laptop with bluetooth and in device manager it comes up as a Mass Storage Controller. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Devin

3rd party firewalls and even XPs built-in F/W will stop the communications. Easiest way to get it to be p***** through is to uninstall it and reinstall it.

Which version of windows are you using on your PC? Also..are you using a USB hub? If you are try connecting your datacable directly to the PC. I had the same problem and that did the trick.
