Kolano,

THe updated file you have in your attachment seems to have some path issues as well - not sure if it was meant to help - doesn't point to the right location for PRJ file.

Though theres doesn't seem to be anything related to it in the change log, I can confirm that my Activesync connection issues seem to be resolved in R2.

As I mention in bug #1, the tool seems to remember wherever it last loaded .prj files from. I don't see how to correct for that. Once you set things to the new location, it should work smoothly for future attempts.

Perhaps we should update the warning messages in the bat in regards to that.

I concur with this. The new message is too much like a porn site pop-up for its own good.

There are various ways to fix the pathing issues for the sprint project file. I fixed it with an easy fix:

1. Open the HTC tool in the tools folder
2. browse to the Sprint project file in the same tools folder
3. change the paths to "nk.nbf" and "nk.nba" with out the quotes and nothing else
4. click save, then click cancel

Now when the createrom.bat file copies them to temp and executes the htc tool from there the paths will be correct because it's in the temp folder along with the nba file.

The batch file actually copies the .nbf file from temp to the upgrade folder so there is no need to point it directly to the upgrade folder.

Now like i said there are various ways of fixing this but this one fixes it without editing the batch file.

Kolano, the OneNote issue is just the way it is. The OneNote thing creates shells for the existing Office apps. The only stand-alone app is the actual OneNote app. Now, people could remove the shortcuts for the standard Office apps and replace them with the OneNote shortcuts, but that is about it.

Couldn't we create an OEM that didn't include the stub exe's or "OneNote Mobile" folder in Programs, but instead just created a "OneNote Mobile" icon in Programs. The only advantage to the stubs seems to be the revised icons, but they aren't even that nice, as they lack transparent backgrounds.

That would cleanly resolve both the multiple icons, and the breakage if other office components weren't installed.

I still can't install cab files, as mentioned in the R1 bug thread. I tried several flashes, none of which gave me any build errors, including no themes, just one of each of the themes, no OEMs, etc.
