Is it possible to add PIM data into a kitchen ?

Just curious if I could add the 3-4 mgs of contact data and appointments/tasks. If its possible where would I add it in?

No, that's a database - you would not want that in ROM, ROM is read only.

You can copy your pim.vol file from the internal store to a storage card as a quick and dirty backup. To restore just copy the file back to internal store, overwriting the one that's there, and then soft-reset.

Only works if the AKU (the OS version) is pretty close to the same as it was when you backed the file up, when you restore...

just back it up to your extended_ROM and then have the config.txt move it over for you after a hard reset. its a little easier than building it into the kitchen. Its possible, but not ..... "wise"

and if it really is 3-4 megs, you should run pimbackup... delete your PIM and run a restore, itll cut that more than in half.

My favorite method of returning contacts after a restore is configuring Mail2web to auto download the contacts from their free push mail exchange server
