I had the $15/mo vision plan. Called in one day with a problem and the rep was really nice and lowered it to $10/mo. Sprint definitely has the best prices on data rates.

I have the plan. I do agree that it is expensive but it comes in very handy while traveling. I use it to tether my laptop.

consider yourselves lucky!
Im a telus user in Canada and our data plans are INSANE! try $25 for 5meg per month!!!!!! Each additional meg - upwards of $8. Yes - we dont even have unliminted on any of our carriers. best plan we have is something link $350 for 500megs (I think). So really, $44 is a steal for me if I was offered that here at home. Guess that is price you pay, we really only have 3 major players for providers here. (Telus, Bell and Rogers - pick you poison). Lucky for me - the 6700 has wifi - they carriers even try and force teh plan on us by saying we cannot have the devices without the plans! I was actually one of the few that was allowed to get it without the rapist data plans. |

I have the data plan with Verizon. There was no way I was going to pay $44/month for unlimited data and didn't for 6 months. However, I jumped on the PDATP plan that was leaked about 6 months ago and got the unlimited data for $20/month. Had the plan now for ~6 months and haven't been flagged yet.
I am still jealous of the Sprint prices though. That's the prices these data plans should be.

I only knew of Verizon offering a $45/month unlimited plan, and a pay-as-you-download per KB charge (which just rapes you). |

Does Verizon still offer the PDATP? I had the SMS2000 for a while but got rid of data altogether. Then when i went back to data they said they didn't have any specials like that anymore?
