Quick Question...
 

Running a custom 6.1 on my Apache, everything works fine except the internet. Im sure you all get tired of dealing with these questions but I have searched around with no results. It keeps connecting automatically and I dont want my battery life to suck more than it already does. I made it so that it has to use a password but now its just getting annoying requesting to connect every two seconds. It might be the GB Soft Tweak or the ppc6700 hacks, i dunno, i just need a solution tho, an ideas? ](*,)

It isnt IE thats trying to connect but rather some other app on your device that is using IE to dial out with for that data connection. You need to find out what that other apps is and it could be anything. It could be an IM, receiving mail, weather updating, ECT.

Maybe there is virus in your ppc. Try to kill it with KAV Bobile or other software. Use software such as memmaid to check the suspicious threads.

Yea I think it mighta been the palringo IM auto connecting cuz it jus stopped after I ended the program and changed the settings, and I doubt it was a virus, I jus flashed my phone like 12 hours ago at the least lol

I know there are A/V softwares out there but I have NEVER seen a bug or virus infect a phone. I have Blue jacked/snarfed ppls BTs but thats all Ive ever seen. I use IM+ and it also has a setting to auto-connect and stay connected so you have to watch out for those type things.
