Pocket G2 Pro can't connect on 3.5 rom

I was wondering if anyone has had any luck using pocket g2 pro (the p2p file sharing app) on a 3.5 rom? I can open the program, but it will never connect to any hubs. It also displays my IP as some weird string of numbers and letters (something like 2002:46c5:12eb::46c5:12eb...). I am using Saridnour's 3.5 pr6 on an XV6700 by the way.

Hi ;)
I try to explain my experience with pocket g2 pro (it's difficult for me explain you in english language)

- I used this app on my treo750 : worked very well. One of my favorite app ;)

- I think this project is abandoned by the autor..

- about one month ago, a message say: the beta expired!
I changed the data (before the expiration data) and the app worked again...

- so, I asked to a friend if it was possible remove the expiration date; he build a new file.exe to overwrite the pocketg2.exe and all goes well.
The app worked again and fine

Now, after an hard reset of my treo and a complete reinstallation of all my app, I have your same issue: pocketg2 don't connect to any hubs!!

I don't know why... :(

I note that if I install original pocketg2 I don't have the msg of expiration date. And the app don't connect.
It's the same if I overwrite the .exe with the other file. No msg of expiration data e no connection.

I don't know why this appens and I hope someone can help us, because this app is very funny and amaze.

Please help us :) Does anyone use pocket G2 Pro successfully?

PS: I think I have your same version of this software, the alpha version.

PPS: I have installed .net framework 2

I'm looking for the redone version of pocket g2 pro. My version expired. Anyone have the version with the rewritten exe file. I'd really appreciate it.

tony

no luck yet

Installed net compact framework 2.0, the program runs, connects my phone to the internet but i get the same results. It never connects to any hubs. i remember when it did work before it expired, you could see a list of servers i think in discovery. Maybe the servers that i connected to are no longer available. can we add other servers in the discovery section. Maybe the others are no longer any good. this is a great program. I cant believe no one has created a simular one. Its like a mini lime wire. Please some one help us fix this

I have had no luck recently connecting to any hubs either... I used to be able to with aku 3.5 until just recently. I miss this app and used it a lot. Any help would be great.

I don't think the problem is that the software is expired. I've got the software with no expiration. I think the problem is connecting to the hubs that are preprogrammed for it to connect to.

Since this application piggy backs of the gnutella peer-to-peer network, i wonder if there is a way to find out if or which network gnutella connects to.

My pocket g2 pro attempts to connect to 2 hubs, but when it was working it would connect to as many as 16 that I've seen. If anyone has a working version, please look in the discovery tab and post all the hubs so that we can manually add it for g2 pro to look for.

Does anyone have the desktop gnutella peer-to-peer application?

don't know about yall but I finally got mine working. it was exactly what I thought it was. I was able to use the connection hub file from a backup I made a full year ago.
