Active sync help
 

After my issues with my headphone jack I took my phone in to get it fixed and they ended up replacing it. Okay maybe I'm retarded but now I can't sync my info to the new device.

More information please are you getting any errors? What happens when you plug the device in I am assuming your replacement is a 6700.

This is completely not helpfull in any way :?

what operating system
wich version of activesync
wich version of outlook
what is the error message your receiving
does the OS recognize the device
how far into the sync do you error out
does connecting it as a modem or internet sharing still work

activesync wants to create a new device when I connect the usb cable everything will sync but the contacts

Wow so nobody can help huh ok. Is there a way to import the contacts from the .csv file???

This is a common occurrence for me with activsync and it is very easy to fix. All you need to do is go to tools/options in ActiveSync on the PC, than un-check the contacts box, hit ok. When ActivSync completes go back to tools/options and recheck the box hit ok and your contacts will sync. 8)
